Information you choose to send
Aurivedo does not offer user accounts, public comments, checkout, or a newsletter form. If you email Sam, the message includes the information you choose to provide and is handled through the email services used by you and Aurivedo.
Article feedback
When you rate a guide, Aurivedo stores your response, the article address, a random identifier saved in your browser, and any optional note you submit. The identifier helps keep one current response per browser and does not identify you by name. If you optionally provide an email address, it is included in the private feedback notification sent to Sam and used only to follow up on that feedback. Feedback notes and email addresses are not published as comments.
To protect the feedback form from automated abuse, Aurivedo temporarily stores a one-way technical fingerprint derived from connection information. The fingerprint cannot be reversed to reveal the original address and is removed from the rate-limit store after approximately 24 hours. Feedback and optional contact details are reviewed periodically and retained for no longer than 24 months unless they are needed to continue a requested conversation. You may ask for deletion by emailing sam@aurivedo.com.
Hosting and basic logs
Hosting and security providers may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and request time to deliver and protect the site.
Cookies and analytics
Aurivedo does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. The article-feedback feature uses local browser storage to remember an anonymous response identifier and your most recent choice. This notice will be updated before adding analytics, advertising technology, or embedded services that change how the site collects information.
Outbound links
Links can take you to retailers or other third-party sites. Their privacy practices apply once you leave Aurivedo, and they may record ordinary referral information such as the page that sent the visit.
Changes
Aurivedo will revise this notice when the site’s data practices change. The date at the top of this page will show the latest revision.
